Setting up Trust Center on Bubble

Bubble is a powerful no-code platform for building web applications. Adding a Trust Center subdomain requires one CNAME record — no Bubble workflows, no API connections, and no impact on your app's logic.

How Bubble connects custom domains

Bubble requires you to add DNS records at your registrar to connect a custom domain. Your DNS is managed externally. Add the Trust Center CNAME at the same registrar.

Adding the CNAME record

Type: CNAME
Name: trust
Value: trustcenter.pro
TTL: 3600

Add this at your domain registrar. It coexists with the DNS records you added for your Bubble app. Propagation is typically under 30 minutes.

Why Bubble apps need robust compliance infrastructure

Bubble apps often handle more personal data than a standard website — user accounts, application data, file uploads, and in many cases sensitive data like health information, financial records, or personally identifiable information used in app logic. If your Bubble app stores personal data in its database, GDPR applies fully — and the data access rights under GDPR (including the right to a copy of all data held) are harder to fulfil from a Bubble app than from a simple website.

Having a Trust Center with a DSAR form gives users a clear route to exercise their rights without you having to build a data export workflow into your Bubble app.

In the Bubble editor, add a text or link element to your app's footer or navigation bar and link it to https://trust.yourdomain.com. For multi-page apps, place this in a reusable header or footer element so it appears on every page.
