Setting up Trust Center on Kajabi

Kajabi powers online courses, memberships, and coaching businesses. It manages DNS for custom domains connected through the platform, and adding a Trust Center takes a few minutes in the Kajabi admin.

Adding the DNS record in Kajabi

  1. In your Kajabi admin, go to Settings → Domain
  2. If your domain's DNS is managed by Kajabi, look for the DNS Records section
  3. Add a new CNAME record:
Type: CNAME
Host / Name: trust
Points to / Value: trustcenter.pro

If your domain's DNS is managed externally (common with Kajabi — most users keep their domain at GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Cloudflare), log in to your registrar and add the record there.

Where Kajabi users typically manage DNS

Kajabi does not register or transfer domains — it only connects them. This means your DNS is almost always managed at an external registrar. The most common setups are: domain at GoDaddy with A record pointing to Kajabi, or domain at Cloudflare with CNAME pointing to Kajabi. In either case, add the trust CNAME at your registrar alongside your existing Kajabi records.

Why compliance matters for Kajabi businesses

Kajabi businesses collect significant personal data: course enrolment details, payment records, email addresses, video viewing behaviour, and sometimes health or coaching information. GDPR and CCPA apply if you have EU or California students. A trust page with a clear privacy policy and DSAR form is a requirement, not optional — and Kajabi's native privacy tools are limited.

In the Kajabi website editor, navigate to your site footer. Add a text or button element and link it to https://trust.yourdomain.com. This will appear on your main Kajabi website. For your member portal, add the link to your portal footer separately via Site → Customise → Footer.
