Wix manages DNS for domains connected through their platform, and you can add custom DNS records directly from your Wix dashboard. No Velo coding or site editor work is required.
Adding the DNS record in Wix
- In your Wix dashboard, go to Domains
- Click the three-dot menu next to your domain and select Advanced → Manage DNS Records
- Under the CNAME section, click + Add Record
- Set Host Name to
trust - Set Value to
trustcenter.pro - Leave TTL as default and click Save
External domain registrars
If you connected a domain to Wix but it's still managed at an external registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.), add the CNAME record there rather than in Wix. The values are the same.
Propagation time
Wix DNS changes typically propagate within 15–30 minutes. Your trust center will be live at https://trust.yourdomain.com once propagation completes.
Why this beats Wix's built-in privacy tools
Wix includes basic privacy policy templates, but they are static, not jurisdiction-aware, and don't include a DSAR form or dynamic cookie disclosure. Trust Center handles all of that from a single subdomain, without touching your Wix site at all.
Linking from your Wix footer
In the Wix Editor, open your footer, add a text or button element, and link it to https://trust.yourdomain.com. Label it "Privacy & Legal" or "Trust Center".
